Clare is a Child Development and Learning Specialist dedicated to supporting children and families through an empathetic, individualized approach to learning and development. Her passion for this work is deeply rooted in her own early experiences with learning challenges, which shaped her commitment to creating supportive and empowering environments where every child feels capable, valued, and ready to thrive. Clare’s philosophy centers on a whole-child approach, recognizing that children’s academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development are all interconnected. She focuses on understanding each child as an individual and tailoring strategies that support growth across all areas of development.

She brings experience as a classroom teacher, one-on-one support provider, and early intervention therapist, which has shaped her ability to design practical, personalized supports for children. Clare works closely with families to implement strategies that help children succeed not only in school, but also with peers and within their home environments.

Clare holds a Master of Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College, where she studied in the Department of Health Studies & Applied Educational Psychology. Her graduate training included extensive study of both neurotypical and neurodivergent development, with a focus on infants, toddlers, and children. She developed expertise across cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning domains.

Clare provides support for children from birth through age twelve. For children under age three, she uses a child-led, play-based approach that supports natural developmental growth. She also helps families address behavioral challenges such as tantrums and other difficult behaviors. In addition, Clare supports school readiness, helping children build not only early academic skills but also the routines, confidence, and structure needed to transition successfully into school environments. She has particular expertise in working with children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is committed to creating inclusive, supportive practices that empower both children and their families.
